Every appointment follows a structured process designed to prioritise comfort, scalp health, and longevity.
If you’re new to braids or unsure about hair prep, colour, texture, or suitability, please review the notes below before booking.

  • Ensure natural hair is at least 4 inches / 10 cm long for lasting results.

    Arrive with hair clean, detangled, fully dry, and stretched.

    All hair types/textures are welcome.

    Hair is provided for braids and cornrows services (except human hair which needs to be ordered a week in advance )

    Bring 8-10 packs of your chosen hair only for Crochet Installs.

    Need a blow-out? Add it during checkout (€45, 30 min to 60 min depending on hair texture, and length).

  • We can guarantee the quality of your finished braids. Hair extension colour matching is done through best-match selection or custom blending. Exact matches require client-supplied braiding hair or a blend.

  • 📍 Fab Xtensions is located at Ormond Quay Upper. Studio location will be shared via email after your booking is confirmed. We do not accept walk-ins. Visits are by Appointment Only.

  • Late arrival

    • 0–15 min grace period* – no fee

    • 16–20 min* – €15 late fee added

    • 30 min without notice* – appointment cancelled; 50 % fee applies

  • Reschedule / Cancel
    • Do it yourself via the link in your confirmation e-mail.

    We understand that schedules can change. To ensure fairness to all clients and maintain our service quality:

    • Maximum 2 reschedules are permitted per booking.

    • Please reschedule or cancel ≥ 72 h before your slot.

    • Same-day cancellation or no-show – 50 % of the service price will be charged.

  • With proper care, most styles last 4–8 weeks. Longevity depends on the style, your hair type, and aftercare (wrapping at night, using a bonnet, moisturizing scalp).

  • No — all extensions are provided unless you have a specific brand or texture preference. Just let us know in advance if you’d like to bring your own.

  • Arrive with hair washed, detangled, and stretched/blow-dried. This ensures a neat, long-lasting install. For natural/curly textures, we also offer a professional blow-out add-on.

  • Not when installed correctly. At Fab Xtensions, we focus on protective, tension-controlled techniques that keep your natural hair healthy while giving you a flawless finish.

    • Knotless braids: 4–6 hours

    • Boho & knotless: 6–8 hours

    • Cornrows/Stitch Braids styles: 2–3 hours
      Each appointment includes an estimated completion time displayed on our booking page. Please note that factors like your natural hair length, texture, and chosen style may affect your total appointment duration. This helps ensure we have adequate time to create your perfect look!

  • How do I care for my braids?
    ✨ Keep your scalp clean and moisturized, wear a satin bonnet at night, and avoid heavy products that cause build-up. You can add a Fab Xtensions satin bonnet to your appointment when booking for extra protection.
